Without the sense of being embedded in an existential framework that holds deep meaning, humanity loses its anchor and becomes lost. Our values become nice ideas rather than pillars of our integrity and our guiding light. The recognition that we are spiritual beings having a human experience is one most people have some inner awareness of, but the prevailing culture in the western world mostly undermines this knowing.
We need to re-learn how to listen deeply to ourselves, to each other, to the earth and to the cosmos. The global crisis we face is an invitation for us to step into greater wholeness; to heal and integrate the ancestral and collective wounds we hold, to return to being stewards of this planet, and to create a world that is aligned with the intelligence of life.
Many of us are feeling the call to be part of birthing a new way of being in the world. If your heart is cracking open, if you are called to make big changes in your life, if you long for a deeper connection to the divine – I see you; I know these aches.
